"When Gladiators Unite: Adamawa’s Last Card"
By: Ibrahim Hayatu (PPO)
“All the Adamawa Political Gladiators are unified.”
In the roaring theatre of Nigerian politics, where alliances are fleeting and loyalty is often traded for personal gain, something remarkable is unfolding in the northeast Adamawa is witnessing an unprecedented political convergence. At a time when turbulence continues to shake the national landscape, when uncertainty looms and the people cry out for direction, a coalition of political gladiators has emerged, not for vanity, but for salvation.
From every political corner of Adamawa State, forces are aligning. The Baba Mai Mangoro political school of thought, revered for its grassroots finesse, the Binani team, known for its bold and daring reach, the Bindow Advocates, seasoned in executive governance, Cliff Abbo’s mercenaries, with their unfiltered energy, and Babachir David’s gallant loyalists, with their storied federal connections they have all shelved egos, ambitions, and past frictions for one united cause: to reclaim Adamawa from the hold of the PDP.
This isn’t just another political stunt or empty handshake moment captured for the front page. This is the making of a formidable storm, carefully brewed in strategy meetings, quietly negotiated in back channels, and now marching boldly into the public arena. The game has changed and the message is crystal clear: 2027 will not be business as usual.
The stakes are high. The ruling party in Adamawa has had its chance but according to these newly aligned forces, that chance has expired. The coalition isn’t just planning to defeat PDP at the polls; they’re aiming to restore governance with conscience, development with direction, and leadership with legacy.
History reminds us that when great houses unite, empires rise. Adamawa has always been a political powerhouse, but never before have we seen such unity among its top guns. This is not just a coalition; it is a movement, and if it stays true to purpose, it may well birth a brighter Adamawa one that works for all, not the few.
The gladiators have entered the ring not to fight each other, but to fight for the people.
Let the new dawn begin.
